Public reports and sharing

Generate branded HTML visibility reports from audit results and share them with stakeholders via a public link.

When to use public reports

Public reports turn VStok audit data into a polished, read-only HTML page you can share without giving viewers a login. Use them for executive updates, client deliverables, agency QBRs, and cross-functional alignment with product or content teams. Each report reflects a point-in-time snapshot — generate a new one after meaningful audit cycles.

Reports include AI Visibility Score, share of voice summary, top prompts, citation highlights, competitor comparison, and prioritized recommendations. They are designed for stakeholders who will not live in the dashboard but need credible numbers and context. Free plans include one report per month; Starter includes ten, Growth fifty, Agency two hundred with white-label options. Reports render responsively on mobile for executives reading on phones.

Generate a report from your project

Open Reports in the project sidebar and click Generate report. Select the audit run you want to snapshot — typically the latest completed audit. Choose a template if your plan supports multiple layouts: standard summary for internal teams, executive brief for leadership, or client-facing layout on Agency with custom branding.

Name the report clearly with the date and scope (for example, "Demo app Q2 AI Visibility — Commercial intents"). Generation takes seconds. Preview before publishing to verify scores match the dashboard filters you used. Reports consume your monthly report quota; deleting a report does not refund quota, so plan generations around review meetings. Unpublished drafts stay private to your workspace until you click Publish.

Share links and access control

Published reports receive a public URL at /r/:token — a long unguessable token, not indexed by default. Copy the link from the Reports list or the share dialog. Anyone with the link can view the HTML report; no VStok account is required. Viewers cannot see raw prompts you marked internal or access other projects in your workspace.

Rotate or revoke links from the report settings if a client engagement ends or a token was shared too broadly. Agency plans can apply white-label logos and remove VStok branding for client delivery. For sensitive pre-release data, share reports only after redacting competitor names in accompanying email context — the report itself shows full competitive benchmarks. Revoked links return a simple not-found page without exposing project details.

Best practices for stakeholders

Lead with the headline score and one share-of-voice chart, then top three recommendations. Executives want direction, not fifty prompt rows. For agencies, pair the public link with a short Loom or slide explaining actions you will take before the next audit cycle.

Schedule recurring audits on Growth (daily or weekly) so each monthly report shows trend arrows, not isolated points. Export CSV or PDF from Agency when procurement requires attachments instead of links. Encourage stakeholders to bookmark the latest link rather than forwarding outdated tokens from prior quarters. Add a one-paragraph executive summary in your cover email highlighting wins and next actions.
